i2 CONSTRUCTION APPOINTS NEW PRESIDENT

Company announces leadership restructuring and management changes

DENVER — i2 Construction is pleased to announce the promotion of Scott Farrell to president. Founder and former president Allan Fries will now serve as chief executive officer. Fries has worked in commercial construction since 1975, and he founded i2 Construction in 1999. In his role as CEO, Fries will lead the company’s strategic initiatives and expansion.

 

Farrell brings extensive experience in the commercial construction industry to this role. He joined i2 Construction in early 2000 as project manager, and most recently served as vice president and partner of the firm. As president, Farrell will oversee daily operations and customer relationships for the company.

 

“Scott has been with the company almost since we opened our doors. Through hard work, he has proven to be a leader both in the company and within the industry, and he continues to serve as an outstanding business partner,” says Fries. “i2 Construction will benefit by having Scott lead our organization into the future.”

 

Additionally, Nathan Kugler has been promoted to vice president of operations and Clint Schmitz has been promoted to vice president of business development. Since joining i2 Construction in 2003, Nathan has worked his way up from site superintendent to project manager and most recently worked as a project executive and partner. Clint has been an integral part of the company, leading its sales efforts since 2009.
