Celebrating the Start of a New Horizon Academy in Aurora
On February 28, 2022, i2 celebrated the official start of construction for New Horizon Academy in Aurora. New Horizon Academy is a family-owned early education and childcare provider that has been serving families since 1971. New Horizon Academy schools provide highly qualified teachers along with a proven educational and creative curriculum.
Project Scope
The one-story, 12,980 SF daycare will provide care for infants, preschool, pre-k, and school-age children. i2’s scope of work for this project includes the ground-up construction of a secure and welcoming lobby, administrative offices, a breakroom, a kitchen, developmentally appropriate classrooms for each age group, a large motor room to inspire play and movement, and an innovative and adventurous outdoor playground.
Partnerships on the Project
i2 has partnered on this project with Short Elliott Hendrickson who is providing engineering and architecture services, along with Cre8play, who is providing the playground equipment, and Boelter, who is providing kitchen equipment.
