i2 Construction Leadership Announcement

Denver-based commercial general contractor i2 Construction, LLP recently promoted Nate Kugler and Clint Schmitz to partners within the organization, growing the i2 leadership team to five partners. Nate and Clint join Allan Fries (Founder and President), Scott Farrell (VP Operations) and Michael Renella (Director of Pre-Construction) as partners at i2. This promotion offers clients, architects and other construction project stakeholders faster access to partner-level attention and promotes a nimble decision-making process during projects.

“I am proud of Nate and Clint for the dedication and professionalism they contribute to our organization,” said i2 Construction President and Founder Allan Fries. “They are laser-focused on serving our clients and building with safety top-of-mind, and they think like owners. While I have no plans to retire for at least 10 years, naming a succession team and further developing their leadership skills is vital to i2’s continued growth, innovation and viability,” continued Fries.

Kugler, who also serves as a Senior Project Manager, has a 12 year tenure with i2 Construction and previously worked as a project manager and superintendent. He has led many of the company’s largest and most challenging projects. His project management and client service skills have been vital to the company’s growth.

Schmitz has served as Director of Business Development for i2 Construction for five years. His local market knowledge and strong relationships with architects and real estate professionals, as well as his talent for helping clients solve their challenging building issues, are leading factors in i2 Construction’s continued growth potential.
